Friday Apr 10, 2020
Friday Apr 10, 2020
Shannon Foreman is a financial advisor and owner of Forethought Financial Planning. She is a no nonsense coach and advisor and we wanted to shed some light on basic financial aspects, especially now and during the COVID-19 global pandemic. Here are some things we covered: What are some common limiting beliefs across the board, regardless of how much money we have? Why, as women, we have notoriously not been good about investing? Can you invest while making only 60K? What are some financial aspects everyone needs to know about (I learned I needed a special kind of insurance as a business owner that I never heard of before). What to do during an economic downturn? Where can we get educated about money and take financial future into our own hands. Shannon can be found at https://www.forethoughtplanning.com

Sunday Nov 10, 2019
Sunday Nov 10, 2019
Hello my beautiful people! Today I bring you a conversation about hardship in life and us having a choice about how we respond. Fabiana Peterson is a an author, life coach and one of the most positive women I have ever met. That doesn't mean her life was easy. In fact, she had a very tough divorce and I learned how her husband had a child with a woman while away on extended work assignment without her even knowing. She tells us about that, about how she handled it and how she wants to be a support to anyone who has been hurt or is going through any kind of a transition. She is honest, inspiring and I hope you will love this conversation as much as I did. She can be found at www.feelfabulousbyfabiana.com

Hello my beautiful people and welcome to yet another episode of Uplevel Together podcast. I am so excited and honored to bring you the conversation today with Kristin Shane which was infused with so much darn joy and happiness and laughter. It is filled with so many inspirational golden nuggets for anyone who has ever had an idea and has wanted to make something out of their lives. Kristen is the founder and CEO of Fly Feet Running, a group fitness studio in Minnesota, a super driven and successful woman, and incredibly lovable and down to earth human. We talked about so many different things but I wanted to ask her where the idea came from (and there is a napkin situation where she developed this idea further) and making the jump from an extremely lucrative successful career at Target to actually running Fly Feet Running full-time. We talked about the realities of life, we talked about how hard it is, and how important it is for all of us to follow that call, whatever that is, to lead and create our own lives. This is one of my favorite conversations.... this woman is a giver, she is a philanthropist, and she is an example of someone who created a company for good and someone who really wants to change the landscape of entrepreneurship women on business, fitness, and inspiration. Without further ado, here is Kristin Shane. You can read more about Fly Feet running at https://www.flyfeetrunning.com and read Kristin's blog at https://www.kristinshane.com

Hello my beautiful people and welcome to yet another Uplevel Together podcast. I am beyond excited today to bring you a very special conversation with a very very special person to me. Gautam Muralidharan is a dear friend and one of the most fascinating humans that I have ever met in my entire life, and I don't say that lightly. He is the founder of Soulwork, which is this incredible company that really limits the constraints of all of our gifts and talent that we have within a company. We talk about this idea of a business that came to him years ago, and why it took him so long to actually pursue it, and then we talk about what he struggled with in the first months of forming the company, what was really hard, and then his transition from a very successful corporate career to actually running his company full-time. We also talk about his climb to Mt. Kilimanjaro, because he did that as well of course, and then maybe if there are some lessons that we could incorporate as well, and we talk about doubting ourselves and believing in ourselves. This is one of the most brilliant, in-depth, insightful conversations I have ever had, and I'm just so happy to share him with all of you. Without further ado, here's Gautam. You can learn more about Soulwork at www.dosoulwork.com

Hello my beautiful people and welcome to yet another addition of the Uplevel Together podcast. Boy oh boy are we all in for a treat today. I love these conversations, I love when you listen to them, when you get something out of them, I love when you tag me, I love when you share it, and I always love hearing your feedback about these conversations. So today I bring you an interesting, fascinating, incredible conversation with Cat Golden. Cat is a good friend of mine and she is founder of Nine Lives Health & Mind. She is this brilliant, fierce human who is unapologetic and is creating a huge revolution for nurses in our country. So she is founder, again, of Nine Lives Health & Mind, which is kind of a placeholder for this movement for nurses. She helps nurses find purpose, presence, and balance. She's a nurse herself and she started noticing something was off in the nursing industry. The nurses were feeling depleted, and not very happy at all. So her campaign is about nurses inspiring nurses, where the focus is raising the energetic vibration of the workplace and being an inspiration to her fellow nurses. So basically inviting nurses to take charge of their own lives, and to create their own schedule, to create their own lives, to leap and live a life by design. And not only is she doing that through coaching and mentorship for the nurses, she also created an incredible online shop where she's selling amazing products. So we talked about the state of the lives of nurses in our country, why they struggle so much, why she started this movement, and also we talked about business and purpose and we talk about her being extremely successful as an entrepreneur, and what it takes to actually sell products and sell mentorship, and to be as successful as she is today. I have loved this conversation and I know that you will as well so without further ado, here's Cat Golden. she can be found at www.nineliveshealth.com

Rise above social conditioning with Jackie Serviss
Saturday Oct 05, 2019
Saturday Oct 05, 2019
Now I, and you, and all of us are in for a treat today. Today I introduce Jackie Serviss to you. Jackie is a former corporate executive turned coach and she is a really dear friend I met a few months ago. Her presence alone makes you feel so loved and accepted and she’s created this Unconditioned method after having gone through something so severe as waking one day and being told she has a brain tumor. We talk about what it felt like as a young mom to receive the news of having a brain tumor, and the healing process that she went through. This is really really important, no matter what it is that we do, no matter who we are, we’re going to be hit with some kind of news or accident or something that happens in our lives, and it’s up to us to figure out what we want to do with that, and we talk about that. .Do we have to have cancer to wake up? Jackie addresses that. Then she goes through the pillars of what it means to be “unconditioned” and why we’ve been so conditioned in our society, and how to fight against that, to reach the equilibrium and real health, overall wellbeing, and happiness. And success comes from that. This conversation was just so insightful, so incredible, so valuable. It will move you, it will give you goosebumps, and I know that it will offer you insight into your own lives.
